In considering a script, there are the linear ways of interaction, and then there are the other ways to dance with the words. I first encountered this article when I was a freshman in college, and it rocked me. I know there are those who have their grievances with it (I hear that and totes understand/respect them as valid), but for me, I still find it really useful. This paper was the first thing that really blew my feeble expectations of analysis out the window and helped me rebuild with a more flexible filter.
